Pig gut Metagenome
收藏资源简介:
Recycling energy and nutrients from former food products, such as bakery products, into animal feed may replace conventional starchy feed ingredients. Part of the aim of the present study was to test the null hypothesis that the dietary inclusion of bakery products at a level of 30% would not affect the fecal bacterial microbiome composition. Fecal samples from growing pigs were collected in week 6 on the dietThe DNA was isolated using a commercial kit and sequenced using Illumina chemistry. The V3-V4 hypervariable regions of bacterial 16S rRNA gene were amplified using a 250 bp read length paired-end protocol (Novogene) on an Illumina Novaseq 6000 platform, including the library preparation (NEBNext Ultra II DNA Library Prep Kit) and sequencing.
