资源简介:
Understanding the ecology and biological roles of bacteria associated with peach crown gall disease, a plant pathological condition, requires the study of culturable organisms that can be experimentally characterized. In this project, bacterial isolates were obtained from crown gall tissue of peach trees collected in the United States by culturing samples on agar media. Morphologically distinct colonies were selected to capture culturable diversity and were maintained as pure cultures. Genomic DNA was extracted from these isolates, followed by whole-genome sequencing using Illumina technology. The resulting genome sequences provide a foundation for taxonomic identification and functional characterization of culturable bacteria associated with peach crown gall, enabling future studies on their ecological roles and potential involvement in plant disease processes.
