The stratum contains data on ecological focus areas (EFAs) — set-aside, the source of which is the declared areas of farmers on aggregated applications (SVs). These are areas that have been set aside for 3 years or more in the wild. In accordance with the Direct Payments Regulation, in Slovenia (1) land under set-aside, (2) nitrogen-fixing crops, (3) area under catch crops or subsoil are considered to be PEP, (4) land lying fallow for melliferous plants.
