A dataset of trust between people and cloud-based intelligent robots

This dataset is from the article "Compliance Trust: A New Dimension of Trust between People and Cloud based Intelligent Robots". The article includes three studies, with research data stored in four Excel files. The data was collected online through the recruitment of participants on the Credamo platform. The original data of Study 1a includes data from 1293 subjects, including subject numbers, demographic information, experience in using smart devices, and preferences for humanoid robots with different appearances. The initial scale consists of 50 items, and detailed information on these items can be found in the appendix of the article. The storage rules for raw data in Study 1b are consistent with those in Study 1a, except that there is no measurement of preferences for humanoid robots with different appearances and an initial scale of 50 items. Instead, detailed data from the traditional automation system trust scale (Aitem) and the self-designed 19 item human-robot trust scale (Bitem) are stored, totaling 433 participants. The original data of Study 2 includes data from 139 participants, including experimental grouping (group), demographic information, pre - and post test willingness to use robot (Aitem), overall trust (Bitem), compliance trust (Citem), relationship trust (Ditem), performance trust (Eiem), and human-robot trust (Fitem) scale scores. The raw data of Study 3 includes 720 participants, including anthropomorphic grouping, demographic information, compliance trust scores for 7 items under different heights and camera visibility conditions, as well as two 2-item scores for risk perception.
