Single-cell gene expression of the subventricular zone (SVZ) neurogenic niche after partial reprogramming

Partial reprogramming has the potential to reverse age-related decline in some tissues. Its impact on the cell types within the aging brain, particularly the subventricular zone neurogenic niche, is unknown. Overall design: Partial reprogramming was induced in the whole body of old mice, or induced specifically in the SVZ of old mice. SVZ cells were isolated from old mice after partial reprogramming, as well as young and old controls, and analyzed by single-cell RNA-sequencing.
