The Impact of Trust Repair Timing and Apology Attribution on Trust Repair

The purpose of this study was to explore the effects of trust repair timing and the method of apology on the effectiveness of trust repair, involving three experiments, with data collected in China. After the researchers introduced the purpose, procedures, anonymity, and confidentiality of the study to the participants, the participants completed the experiments through specific experimental steps. The first two experiments were conducted in Southern China using situational simulation methods for data collection, and the third experiment was conducted online through China's Credamo platform for data collection.
