资源简介:
This COVID-19 telephone survey builds on an earlier IFPRI-led randomized controlled trial testing the effectiveness of video-based behavioral change communication to increase fruit and vegetable consumption in Addis Adaba city. A series of phone surveys were administered to the subsample of households that participated in the in-person surveys conducted in 2019 and 2020 before the COVID-19 crisis. The first phone survey was administered in early May and follow-up surveys in early June, July, and August. Attrition rates remained relatively small. Of the 600 households identified for the phone survey, 577 households were reached in the final phone survey conducted in August implying an attrition rate of 3.8%.</p>
The purpose of these phone surveys was to gain an understanding of how COVID-19 is affecting the food and nutrition security of households in Addis Ababa. The phone survey questions included food purchase patterns in the past 1-2 weeks, food security in the past 2 weeks, and changes in income sources and levels in the past 2 weeks.
