Characterization of filtration aids and rice husk ash for filtration applications

This dataset contains data associated with the thesis “Aplicação da cinza da casca de arroz como auxiliar de filtração da cerveja”. It includes experimental data from the physicochemical characterization of rice husk ash and conventional filtration aids used in beer filtration studies, as well as data from laboratory-scale filtration trials. The analyzed samples include raw rice husk ash (RHA1), micronized rice husk ash (RHA2), coarse diatomaceous earth (CA500), fine diatomaceous earth (CI160), a fine diatomaceous earth filtration aid (type 14), and colloidal silica. These data support the comparison between rice husk ash and conventional filtration aids, contributing to the assessment of rice husk ash as an alternative filtration material in beer processing.
