The genome of three lysogenic phages for potential pathogenic Vibrio spp. of the North Sea were characterized. In detail, the phages vB_VpaM_VP-3212 (Myoviridae, 36.81 Kbp) and vB_VpaP_VP-3220 (Podoviridae, 58.14 Kbp) were induced from the two V. parahaemolyticus strains VN-3212 and VN-3220, respectively. The phage vB_VchM_VP-3213 (Myoviridae, 41 Kbp) was induced from the V. cholerae strain VN-3213. Vibrio isolates were induced in liquid culture (+MitC). DNA of virus particles was sequenced by Illumina MiSeq. Sequence reads (>300 bp) were assembled with SPAdes, follow by (pro)phage identification using VirSorter, PHASTER, and Virfam. The single retained contig corresponded to the complete genome of each lysogenic phage.
