Data and materials for "How learning-oriented generative AI feedback relates to perceived learning gains in higher education"

This record contains the anonymized dataset, data dictionary, questionnaire items, and SPSS analysis syntax supporting the manuscript entitled “How learning-oriented generative AI feedback relates to perceived learning gains in higher education: the serial mediating roles of perceived competence and learning engagement”. The analytic sample includes 742 undergraduate students in China who reported prior experience using generative artificial intelligence for academic learning. The dataset includes anonymized responses for learning-oriented GenAI feedback, perceived competence, learning engagement, perceived learning gains, and background control variables. No personally identifiable information is included.
