Videos, images, and bathymetry from GA0337 (Flinders Commonwealth Reserve survey)

A survey of the Flinders Commonwealth Marine Reserve (GA survey 0337) was conducted aboard the R.V. Challenger between Tuesday, August 7th 2012 and Thursday, August 16th 2012, in collaboration with CSIRO Hobart and the University of Tasmania as part of GA's commitment to the National Environmental Research Programme (NERP)'s Marine Biodiversity Hub (Theme 1). The survey collected video using a lightweight towed camera system, as well as footage from a camera mounted on the Smith-MacIntyre sediment grab. Bathymetry data was collected using GA's EM3002 system running in single head mode.The aims of the survey were to characterize benthic habitat in the Flinders Commonwealth Marine Reserve using a Generalized Random Tessellation Stratified (GRTS) sample design.The camera files are organized according to date collected and are labelled using the camera shot number and GRTS sample number.

本研究针对弗林德斯联邦海洋保护区开展GA勘测0337，于2012年8月7日（周二）至2012年8月16日（周四）期间在挑战者号研究船（R.V. Challenger）上实施，由霍巴特联邦科学与工业研究组织（CSIRO Hobart）与塔斯马尼亚大学协作完成，作为GA履行国家环境研究计划（National Environmental Research Programme, NERP）海洋生物多样性中心（主题1）相关承诺的一部分。本次勘测采用轻型拖曳摄像系统采集视频影像，并借助搭载于史密斯-麦金泰尔采泥器（Smith-MacIntyre sediment grab）上的相机获取配套影像素材。水深地形数据通过GA的EM3002系统以单换能器模式采集获得。本次勘测的目标为采用广义随机镶嵌分层（Generalized Random Tessellation Stratified, GRTS）采样设计，对弗林德斯联邦海洋保护区内的底栖生境进行特征刻画。所有摄像文件均按采集日期进行归档，并以相机拍摄编号与GRTS采样编号进行标注。
