Data Observatory

Data Observatory is the result of a public-private-academic collaboration in Chile that seeks to maximize the benefits that can be obtained from data for science, research, and productive development. This is achieved by creating, managing, and enriching open data platforms that are available to the community to generate public policies and initiatives that have a social impact in areas related to climate change, logistics and transportation, mining, aquaculture, land management, and natural disaster prevention, among others.

智利数据观测台系由公共、私营及学术界合作之成果，旨在最大化从数据中获取的科学、研究及生产性发展的效益。此目标通过创建、管理和丰富可供社区使用的开放数据平台得以实现，进而催生具有社会影响力的公共政策及倡议，涉及气候变化、物流与交通、矿业、水产养殖、土地管理与自然灾害预防等多个领域。
