VPRS 16883 Uncle Bobs Club Journal and Newsletter

The Uncle Bobs Journal (originally called the Uncle Bobs Quarterly), is the official bulletin of the Uncle Bobs Club. The Uncle Bobs Club is a fundraising organisation for the Royal Children's Hospital and for sick and handicapped children in Victoria. Information in the bulletin includes general club news, reports from the President, financial reports, branch reports, lists of new members, fundraising reports, and notifications of upcoming meetings.The Uncle Bobs Club Journal was published quarterly in March, June, September and December each year until December 2007. It was then issued twice annually from 2008 due to rising costs and the loss of the former printing business which the Uncle Bobs Club used. The Newsletter was introduced from January 2008.The series also contains a 50th Anniversary booklet (1991) for the Uncle Bobs Club.The Uncle Bobs Clubs is still operating at time of writing, 2013.Further records relating to the Uncle Bobs Club can be found in VPRS 16854 Administrative Records of the 'Piped Pipers' and 'Uncle Bobs' Club Auxiliaries.Prior to transfer to Public Record Office Victoria, the records in this series were maintained as part of the RCH Archives. They were part of RCH accession number 2003/002.

该档案系列还包含1991年鲍勃叔叔俱乐部成立50周年纪念手册。截至2013年本文撰写之时，鲍勃叔叔俱乐部仍在运营。
