资源简介:
Deployment of a Littoral Battlespace Sensing (LBS) glider owned and operated by the Naval Oceanographic Office (NAVOCEANO). The glider will be deployed in 40 meters of water on the Mid-Atlantic Bight shelf and make a counter clockwise loop around the Mid-Atlantic Slope Sea staying on the north side of the Gulf Stream. LBS gliders collect temperature and salinity profiles in the water column. These gliders were provided and operated by the Naval Oceanographic Office (NAVOCEANO) and are part of a larger effort to deploy and operate over 100 gliders simultaneously. Data collected by these Littoral Battlespace Sensing (LBS) gliders is assimilated for use in underwater ocean forecasts that support a wide range of naval operations.cdm_data_type = TrajectoryProfileVARIABLES:conductivity (Sea Water Electrical Conductivity, mS.cm-1)conductivity_raw (mS.cm-1)density (Sea Water Density, kg.m-3)depth (m)instrument_ctd (CTD Metadata, 1)lat_uv (Depth-averaged Latitude)latitude (Profile Latitude, degrees_north)lon_uv (Depth-averaged Longitude)longitude (Profile Longitude, degrees_east)platform (Platform Metadata, 1)precise_lat (Precise Latitude, degrees_north)precise_lon (Precise Longitude, degrees_east)precise_time (seconds since 1970-01-01T00:00:00Z)pressure (Sea Water Pressure, hectopascal)profile_idqartod_conductivity_flat_line_flag (QARTOD Flat Line Test for sea_water_electrical_conductivity, 1)qartod_conductivity_gross_range_flag (QARTOD Gross Range Test for sea_water_electrical_conductivity, 1)qartod_conductivity_primary_flag (QARTOD Primary Flag for sea_water_electrical_conductivity, 1)qartod_conductivity_rate_of_change_flag (QARTOD Rate of Change Test for sea_water_electrical_conductivity, 1)qartod_conductivity_spike_flag (QARTOD Spike Test for sea_water_electrical_conductivity, 1)...
