Dataset and R code to replicate the analysis of the paper entitled "Knowledge, attitudes and practices relating to HIV self-testing following its introduction in the Bas-Sassandra region of Côte d'Ivoire: the case of the ATLAS project"

This anonymised dataset was generated from a cross-sectional population-based survey conducted in the Bas-Sassandra region in 2021 among individuals aged 15-49. The survey was conducted jointly by the Suga Babi project and the ATLAS programme, both of which were funded by Unitaid. In this study, we aimed to use this survey to assess the levels and correlates of knowledge of, attitudes towards, and practices relating to HIV self-testing following the introduction of HIVST by the ATLAS project in Côte d’Ivoire. Identifying correlates of KAP could provide additional evidence-based tools for policymakers, which would enable them to implement actions to improve HIVST uptake and, ultimately, HIV status awareness.
