资源简介:
Content: Surveys for monitoring at Lizard Island, Great Barrier Reef, of coral-dwelling gobies (genus Gobiodon) and their acroporid coral hosts (genus Acropora) following multiple disturbances.Purpose: Data analysis to see effects of multiple disturbances on the species monitored. Purpose for data upload for publication.Multiple disturbances devastated the reefs around Lizard Island, and the state of the coral-fish mutualism is yet unknown. How these animals respond is important to understand because they help each other survive. Corals are foundation species in coral reefs, and coral gobies help them evade predation and seaweed growth. If the mutualism endures through the devastation, then that is a good sign for coral recovery. The datasets consist of monitoring of populations of Acropora corals and Gobiodon coral-dwelling gobies. The datasets consist of 3 data tables and one R-code file.
