Remarkable Heritage Sites. extracted from the Heritage Observatory March 2021

Remarkable heritage sites (ZPPAUP AVAP PSMV) of Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes extracted from the Heritage Atlas in March 2021 The remarkable heritage sites were created by the law of 7 July 2016 on freedom of creation, architecture and heritage. This device aims to protect and enhance the architectural, urban and landscape heritage of our territories. Remarkable heritage sites are “cities, villages or neighborhoods whose conservation, restoration, rehabilitation or enhancement present, from a historical, architectural, archaeological, artistic or landscape point of view, a public interest.” Rural spaces and landscapes that form a coherent whole with these towns, villages or neighbourhoods or which are likely to contribute to their conservation or enhancement may be classified in the same way.
