Data and scripts for "Mean state and day-to-day variability of tropospheric circulation in planetary-scale barotropic Rossby waves during Eurasian heat extremes in CMIP5 models"

Data are from ERA5 (1980-2019) and a subset of CMIP5 models (CNRM-CM5, GFDL-CM3, MIROC5, MPI-ESM-LR; 1980-2005) for the May-Sep period. The full description can be found in Strigunova et al. (2022, 2025). The content consists of: 2 CSV files (heatwave metrics and errors), 2 NCL files (one plots maps for the present-day climate and another is for the future, RCP4.5-projections), 2 archived files (include data, and both are necessary for plotting)
