Accidents at work workers; industry
This table contains data on accidents at work of the Dutch worker aged 15 to 75, by sectors (SBI 2008). The table presents figures on the proportion of workers with an accident at work in the past 12 months and the type of injury suffered by workers. These are both accidents at work that lead to absenteeism and accidents at work without absenteeism. Since 2015, the measurement of accidents at work has improved. An additional check has been carried out to determine whether the accident at work has occurred in the past 12 months. As a result, the share of workers with an accident at work will be slightly lower as of 2015. As of the reporting year 2022, the way in which data has been collected and processed for the NEA differs in some respects from previous reporting years. As a result, the figures from 2022 onwards may not be comparable in all cases to the figures until 2021. More information is available in the NEA 2022 research description (see paragraph 4). All figures are based on at least 100 observations. Data available from: 2014. Status of the figures: Figures in this table are final. Changes as at 31 January 2024: The structure of the SBI classifications has changed. Amendments 18 April 2023: The annual figures for 2022 have been added. The way in which the figures on the injury of the most recent accident are compiled has been uniformed. As a result, the figures for this subject for 2014 may differ slightly from previously published figures. Confidence intervals have also been added in the table, and the minimum number of observations for publication has been changed from 200 to 100. Amendments as of 17 May 2016 The measurement of accidents at work has improved. An additional check has been carried out to determine whether the accident at work has occurred in the past 12 months. As a result, the share of workers with an accident at work is slightly lower in 2015. When will there be new figures? The figures for the previous year shall be published by May at the latest.
