OWLeS: Hobart and William Smith Colleges Mobile Radiosonde Data. Version 1.0

The Hobart and William Smith (HWS) Colleges operated a mobile radiosonde system during lake-effect systems on Lake Ontario. HWS operations were focused along the south shore of Lake Ontario and along the Finger Lakes. This data set contains the 73 quality controlled, high vertical resolution (1-second) HWS soundings released during the Ontario Winter Lake-effect Systems (OWLeS) field phase (7 December 2013 to 28 January 2014).霍巴特与威廉史密斯学院（Hobart and William Smith Colleges，HWS）在安大略湖湖效应对流系统活动期间运行了一套移动无线电探空系统。HWS的观测作业主要聚焦于安大略湖南岸以及芬格湖群沿线区域。本数据集收录了安大略湖冬季湖效应对流系统（Ontario Winter Lake-effect Systems，OWLeS）外场观测阶段（2013年12月7日至2014年1月28日）期间释放的73份经过质量控制、具备1秒采样高垂直分辨率的HWS探空数据。
