Raw data of changes of mitochondrial mass (MM) and low mitochondrial membrane potential (MMPlow) of immune cells in the course of HBV infection and their correlation with liver inflammation.

In this study, the percentage of lymphocyte MMP^low and MM in different course of HBV infection were systematically analyzed, and found the MMP^low and MM of were correlated with early liver inflammation and the course. This is the first time to prove the clinical diagnostic value of MMP^low and MM in HBV infection. The mechanism of T cells in liver inflammation was further elucidated to provide potential detection indexes for clinical cirrhosis and early liver injury.
