Due to global warming, a fundamental change in the appropriation of trees and a shift in natural forest societies can be expected in the long term. In some heights or growth areas, today’s main tree species will still be able to maintain, in some cases only more than side tree species, but in others are completely due to the changed climate conditions (e.g. drought, calamities). Tree species suitability based on heat, water and nutrient supply in the following scenarios: hist: Situation 1989-2018 4550: moderate climate change 2036-2065 4585: moderate climate change 2071-2100 8550: strong climate change 2036-2065 8585: strong climate change 2071-2100 Aptitude classes: very well suited; well suited; moderately suitable; not suitable;
