资源简介:

This dataset contains comprehensive data from a study on nitrogen acquisition strategies of white birch (Betula platyphylla) and Dahurian larch (Larix gmelinii) across a permafrost degradation gradient in northeastern China. File Contents:datamain_YMv1.xlsx: Main data file containing 36 samples with environmental background (coordinates, climate, tree age), soil parameters (SOC, TN, pH, NH4+, NO3-, amino acids), fine-root traits (diameter, specific root length, specific root area, tissue density, root N content, mycorrhizal colonization), nitrogen uptake rates (NH4+, NO3-, glycine), and nitrogen form preferences. otu_taxon_bp.xlsx: White birch root-associated fungal community data, including OTU abundance table (240 OTUs * 10 samples), complete taxonomic assignments (Kingdom to Species), alpha diversity indices, and sequencing quality statistics. otu_taxon_lg.xlsx: Dahurian larch root-associated fungal community data, containing OTU abundance table (173 OTUs * 10 samples), taxonomic information, alpha diversity metrics, and sequencing quality control data. Data were collected in July 2018 from two sites: Mohe (intact permafrost) and Yichun (degraded permafrost). All measurements were quality-controlled and standardized for direct statistical analysis. The dataset supports research on plant-soil-microbe interactions under climate change, particularly focusing on how contrasting plant economic strategies influence belowground nitrogen acquisition mechanisms during permafrost thaw.
