Habitat Quality and Human Disturbance Influence the Occurrence of Endangered Softshell Turtles (Nilssonia spp.) in Eastern Nepal: Implications for Conservation

This data set was generated by purposive field sampling in the softshell turtle habitats in the eastern Nepal. It contains total 13 columns and 96 rows. The data contains the presence/absence data of softshell turtles presented as 1 for presence and 0 for absence. Additionally it has the data about environmental variables such as water depth, habitat type, water pH, BOD, etc. and human disturbance index (HDI) quantified based on the field observation.
