资源简介:

Surface electrogastrography (sEGG) records gastrointestinal (GI) myoelectric activity non-invasively from the abdominal surface, offering a potential glimpse into gastric and intestinal function. Despite nearly a century of investigation, clinical adoption remains limited by low Signal-to-Noise Ratio, motion artifacts, and the lack of standardized, large-scale public datasets particularly those capturing intestinal activity and variations in electrode placement. This work presents a multichannel sEGG dataset acquired using a wearable sensor belt, synchronized with tri-axial accelerometry, designed to support reproducible research in GI signal processing and machine learning. OVERVIEWThis dataset contains multisite surface electrogastrography (sEGG) recordings from 15 healthy adult participants during controlled meal challenge experiments. The LIBPhys-EGG dataset captures gastric and intestinal myoelectrical activity during fasting (pre-prandial), meal ingestion, and prolonged post-prandial states. The recordings include: - 4-channel sEGG signals from anatomically defined abdominal sites - 3-axis accelerometer data for motion artifact identification - Detailed annotations including meal timing, digestive states, and artifacts KEY STATISTICS - Total recording volume: 111.8 hours - Number of recording sessions: 30 - Number of participants: 15 - Median session duration: 4.00 hours - Mean primary session duration: 5.16 ± 1.22 hours - Minimum recorded window: 30 min pre-prandial + 1 hour post-prandial PARTICIPANT INFORMATION - Number of participants: 15 (6 male, 9 female) - Age: 30.6 ± 10.9 years - Male: 34.8 ± 12.7 years - Female: 27.8 ± 9.2 years - BMI: 22.2 ± 3.9 - Male: 23.7 ± 4.9 - Female: 21.0 ± 2.9 - All participants were healthy adults free from: - Known GI disorders (IBD, IBS, gastroparesis) - History of major abdominal surgery - Medications affecting GI motility RECORDING PARAMETERS - Sampling rate: 1000 Hz - ADC resolution: 16-bit - Recording device: 8-channel biosignalsplux hub - sEGG sensor specifications: - Bandwidth: 0.0023–0.75 Hz - Gain: 6114 - Input impedance: >100 GΩ - CMRR: 100 dB - Accelerometer specifications: - Technology: MEMS - Range: ±3.60 g - Bandwidth: 0–50 Hz - Axes: 3 (x, y, z) - Electrodes: Pre-gelled, disposable Ag/AgCl (Cardinal Health, 24mm diameter)
