Serial synchrotron X-ray diffraction datasets of papain microcrystals soaked with E-64 and analogs

Fixed-target serial synchrotron X-ray diffraction (SSX) data from papain microcrystals soaked with a library of analogs of the natural product E-64 were acquired for purposes of comparison with MicroED data acquired on the same systems. These studies are meant to enable comparison in soaked ligand visualization between X-ray and MicroED measurements on enzyme microcrystals. These data are associated with the manuscript "Combining MicroED and native mass spectrometry for structural discovery of enzyme–small molecule complexes", where MicroED and native mass spectrometry are used as complementary methods to capture enzyme-ligand binding interactions.
