## **Abstract** \n\nThe dataset was derived by the Bioregional Assessment Programme from data supplied by the Bureau of Meteorology. The source dataset is identified in the Lineage field in this metadata statement. The processes undertaken to produce this derived dataset are described in the History field in this metadata statement.\n\n\n\nStreamflow timeseries data and gauge locations for selected gauges in the Hunter subregion. This dataset was created to establish a unified streamflow dataset, based on the 24 July 2014 dataset provided by the BoM.\n\n## **Purpose** \n\nThe data was used for preparing contextual statement, calibrating and validating surface water modelling, and establishing surface hydrological response variables.\n\n## **Dataset History** \n\nThe data was created using the original 24 July 2014 streamflow data. The process steps are as follows\n\n1.\tTo move one day backward to match precipitation data since the original 9:00am data is for the period of the current 10:00 am to next 9:00 am\n\n2.\tTo identify gauge stuck issue\n\n3.\tTo identify data linear interpolation issue\n\n4.\tTo regard the issue data as missing data\n\n5.\tTo generate streamflow data with the unified quality codes: (1: Good; 2: Fair; 3: Poor; 4: Unverified; 5: Non-conforming; 6: Missing)\n\n6.\tTo separate daily streamflow into baseflow and quick flow using the standard filtering method (Lyne and Hollick (1979)). \n\nThe data was created in MATLAB using scripts and functions.\n\n## **Dataset Citation** \n\nBioregional Assessment Programme (XXXX) Streamflow data and locations for selected gauges in the Hunter subregion. 3. 识别数据线性插值异常。
4. 将存在异常的数据视为缺失值处理。
5. 生成带有统一质量编码的径流数据:(1: 优良; 2: 合格; 3: 较差; 4: 未验证; 5: 不合格; 6: 缺失)。
6. 采用标准滤波法(Lyne和Hollick,1979)将日径流序列分解为基流与快速流。
本数据集通过MATLAB脚本与函数编写生成。
