MicroLaue study of ferroelectric domains in LiTaO3

We wish to study the properties of ferroelectric domains and domain walls in thin film of LiTaO3. Literature has shown that domain walls are not limited to a narrow
(few atomic period) zone but display a large strain field , with stress and rotation of the two domains. We shall investigate domains bounded by domain walls with
different orientations, hence different charge level. We expect that these structural investigations may give additional clues on the origin of antiparallel defect
domains that may happen in some conditions.
