Polyascus polygenea transcriptome project
收藏资源简介:
Our ultimate goal is to understand the biology and host-parasite interaction of parasitic barnacle (Rhizocephala) at the molecular level. At Bentenzaki of Oga Peninsula, Akita, Japan, three species of Sacculinidae, Polyascus polygenea, Sacculina yatsui, and un-identified Rhizocephala sp. Oga were found to parasitize a single host crab, Hemigrapsus sanguineus, sympatrically. In this project, we constructed a transcriptome of Polyascus polygenea composed of the internae around its host hepatopancreus, the several parts of the externae and the larval stages, to compare with the transcriptome of Sacculina yatsui. (BioProject: PRJDB8012 DRA submission: DRA008063~DRA008065). In addition, this transcriptome includes the internae connected with mature externa, those connected with virgin externa and without any externa after mature or virgin externa was lost, to address the interna-externa interaction.
