Data for: Identifying regulators of associative learning using a protein-labelling approach in C. elegans
收藏资源简介:
All animals with a brain have the capacity to change their behaviour in response to changes in the environment. This capacity – the ability to learn and remember – is essential for survival. There are numerous structural and molecular changes in the brain that modulate learning and memory formation in specific brain regions, occurring in a time and context-dependent manner. Research using model organisms has been essential towards understanding the key regulatory mechanisms underlying learning, many of which involve neurotransmitter signalling, neuromodulator signalling, signal transduction pathways, and cytoskeletal dynamics. Importantly, many of these mechanisms appear to be conserved across diverse species. Methods Behavioural data were collected using experimental procedures described in detail in the Methods section of the manuscript. Western blotting was performed according to experimental procedures described in detail in the Methods section of the manuscript.
