The digital height model (DHM) is a three-dimensional, digital description of the earth’s surface, drawn up under the impulse of the Ministry of the Flemish Community (AWZ – Department of Hydraulic Laboratory and AMINAL – Department of Water) The model is represented by points with x, y and its coordinates positioned at ground level, i.e. without buildings or vegetation. Characteristic are the high accuracy of the measured points and the high point density, on average 1 point per 20 square meters.数字高度模型（Digital Height Model，DHM）是对地球表面的三维数字化描述，由弗拉芒社区水利部门（AWZ——水力实验室部门及AMINAL——水务部门）推动编制完成。该模型以带有x、y平面坐标及高度坐标的测点作为核心表述单元，所有测点均布设于地表，即剔除建筑物与植被覆盖的干扰，仅保留地表真实高度信息。其显著特征为测点精度优异，且点密度极高，平均每20平方米即布设1个测点。
