Young men's experiences of counselling: Should I stay or should I go?

The data is a series of transcribed interviews collected from young men, residing in metropolitan Adelaide, aged 18 to 25 years, regarding their counselling experiences. The data was collected and analysed using a Narrative Inquiry methodology. The data was used to explore the reasons why young men enter into, engage in and exit from counselling. The data was used to expand the body of knowledge regarding young men’s counselling experiences, in order to improve the training and practice of therapists.

本数据集为一系列转录访谈文本，采集自居住在阿德莱德都会区、年龄介于18至25岁的青年男性，内容围绕其心理咨询经历展开。本数据集采用叙事探究（Narrative Inquiry）方法进行采集与分析，旨在探究青年男性开启、持续参与及终止心理咨询的动因，并拓展关于青年男性心理咨询经历的知识体系，以推动心理咨询师的培训与执业实践优化。
