Category A4 easements relate to easements of passage in the bed or on the banks of non-federal watercourses.These are easements of passage:- within the meaning of Articles L. 151-37-1 and R. 152-29 of the Rural Code, that is to say "allowing the execution of works, operation and maintenance of the works and the passage over the private property of officials and agents responsible for supervision, contractors or workers, as well as mechanical equipment strictly necessary for the carrying out of the operations".- and established in connection with the management of water, whether public or not, in order to permit the operation of the works, or of the general works, and of the mechanical equipment strictly necessary for carrying out the operations”. This resource describes the surface plates of Class A4 easements, namely crossing areasA4类地役权系指设于非联邦水道河床或岸堤的通行地役权。此类通行地役权包含两层定义范畴：其一符合《法国农村法典》第L.151-37-1条及第R.152-29条之规定，即"允许开展工程作业、进行工程运营与维护，允许监管人员、责任代理人、承包商及作业人员通行私人财产区域，同时使用作业开展所必需的专用机械设备"；其二系为配合水务管理（无论公共或非公共水务）而设立，以保障工程、通用工程及作业所需专用机械设备的正常运行。本数据集旨在描述A4类地役权的地表覆盖范围，即通行区域。
