Report and Site Images from an Archaeological Watching Brief at Conksbury Farm, Conksbury, Over Haddon, Derbyshire, April 2024

This collection consists of site images, and a report from archaeological monitoring at Conksbury Farm, Conksbury, Over Haddon, Derbyshire. Works were conducted by York Archaeology in April 2024. Archaeological features were only recorded within one building, a probable cow house, labelled Building 2. The groundworks revealed the foundations of three internal walls within Building 2 which had been removed during previous alterations to the internal layout of the building. Excavations in other buildings exposed no archaeological features or deposits. A probable subsoil deposit was present underlying the concrete surfaces and their sandy bedding layers.
