In order to invetigate the impact of CpG methylation on gene expression, transcriptomic profiling using microarray were conducted on the fast and slow type myofibers. The gene expressions of isolated and pooled fast and slow type myofibers were analysed. Fast and slow type muscle fibers were collected from extensor digitorum longus (EDL) and soleus muscles dissected from 8 male mouse.The total RNAs were isolated from the pooled 4,447 fast and 1,659 slow type fibers.
