University of Maine CO2 Flux from Fine Woody Debris (FWD) Study, Howland, Maine, 2024.

This dataset contains fine woody debris (FWD) CO2 flux measurements for the growing season of 2024 from Howland Forest, ME, as well environmental variables measured at the time of the flux measurement. Raw flux and calculated flux are included in the dataset.Total sample mass, moisture content, and diameter distribution were also recorded for each FWD sample. Environmental variables including canopy openness, soil moisture, soil temperature, and air temperature were recorded for each sample and include log-transformed variables when appropriate.
