The invasive neoplasm crosses the muscular layer of the intestinal wall and penetrates deep into the surrounding fat tissue, as well as locally crosses the serosa and reaches the radial surgical margin of the mesentery.
The tumor presents features of perineural invasion (PNI-1). It is accompanied by the presence of vascular emboli, including those located outside the intestinal wall (LVI-1).
