The Synergy of Copolymerization Chemistry and Artificial Intelligence

Monomers are part of the building blocks chemist use to make materials with certain characteristics, but it takes a lot of time, effort and money to find the optimal way of combining them into polymers with the desired properties. This work focusses on finding a more efficient way of getting these polymers by combining conventional chemistry and the power of artificial intelligence and statistics to predict the characteristics even before any work in the lab needs to be done.
