Replication Data for: Reddit posts related to Artificial intelligence categorized using Plutchik's wheel of emotions

The research proposes to examine discourse about Artificial Intelligence systems in Reddit communities and categorise the wide array of reports into emotional responses. The categorisation of emotional responses is based on psychological concepts derived from Plutchik’s research into the spectrum of emotions. The results of the research highlight the role media plays in influencing the opinions of the users about relationships with computer companions. Results also show how constant interaction with Artificial Intelligence systems provide the users with a theoretical framework of reference that helps them identify design flaws of Ai systems pertaining to social intelligence.本研究旨在剖析Reddit社区中围绕人工智能（Artificial Intelligence，AI）系统展开的讨论话语，并将各类相关内容归类为情感响应。本次情感响应的分类依据，源自普特奇（Plutchik）情绪光谱研究提出的心理学概念。本研究结果凸显了媒体在影响用户对人机伴侣关系的认知方面所起到的作用。此外，研究结果还表明，持续与人工智能系统交互，能够为用户提供可供参考的理论框架，助力其识别与社会智能相关的人工智能系统的设计缺陷。
