Chikungunya virus ECSA genotype entered Brazil in 2014 brought by a traveler al Feira de Santana. Since them the virus is spreadin North/Northest due to suitable vector and naive human population. In this study we performed a epidemiological and genomic analysis of CHIKV in a specific neighborhood of Feira de Santana where almost all individuals got infected.
