eBird-based structured bird observation summary for Shirvan and Gyzylaghaj, Azerbaijan

This dataset contains an author-prepared structured summary derived from the eBird Basic Dataset for Azerbaijan, version EBD_relMay-2026. The dataset summarizes eBird observation and sampling-event data for Shirvan and Gyzylaghaj, Azerbaijan, for the period 2020–2026. The dataset was prepared for academic use in a comparative study of wetland bird observation, birdwatching ecotourism potential, and green economy opportunities in Shirvan and Gyzylaghaj National Parks. The structured Excel file includes derived summaries of observation records, sampling checklists, unique species, observation periods, monthly observation activity, protocol types, locality-level observation intensity, annual distribution, and top species records. The original eBird Basic Dataset files are not redistributed in this Zenodo record. Only derived and author-structured summary indicators are provided in accordance with eBird data-use terms. The dataset is intended for non-commercial academic research, supplementary analysis, and transparent reporting of citizen-science-based observation effort.
