资源简介:
Chloroplasts originated via endosymbiosis, wherein a symbiotic organism was integrated into a host cell. The vast majority of chloroplast proteins are now encoded in the host nuclear genome, reflecting the chimeric nature of the host cell itself. To elucidate the processes underlying such cellular integration, we generated genomic data from Rapaza viridis, a unicellular eukaryote that transiently exploits symbionts, and its algal symbiont Tetraselmis.
