The Data on Sustainability-related Knowledge, Attitude and Behaviour of Education Stakeholders around Indonesia's Kuantan Singingi Conservation Areas

This dataset describes the sustainability-related knowledge, attitude and behaviour of education's stakeholders in Kuantan Singingi, Indonesia. The data were collected using 5-Likert Scale questionnaire administered to 88 participants from two government agencies (n=10) and four schools (n=78, 6 teachers and 72 students). SPSS was used to analyze the data. From the data analysis, it was found that participants had relatively good knowledge, attitude and behaviour related to sustainability, with no significant difference between genders or institutions. T-test analysis shows that there is significant difference in terms of behaviour between those who have attended Education for Sustainable Development (ESD)-related training and those who have not, which indicates the importance of relevant training. Pearson’s Correlation Analysis show the value of 0.000 < 0.05, which means that knowledge and attitude correlate significantly with behaviour. Moreover, multiple regression analysis also reveals that behaviour can be improved through the enhancement of knowledge.
