Data for oil for marsh surface samples (0-5 cm). Data for shoreline erosion may be found in the dataset: Bathymetry data of Barataria Bay and northern Gulf Mexico NOAA national geophysical data center (ngdc) https://data.gulfresearchinitiative.org/data/R1.x139.143:0008/). This dataset captures the distribution of oil and serves as a post-spill inventory of oil at sites that would continue to be monitored over the next several years.
