This is a meta-analysis examining the effectiveness of tDCS that targets the DLPFC in modulating executive function. Studies that target one DLPFC with anodal stimulation, one DLPFC with cathodal stimulation, and both left and right DLPFC are examined separately. A number of potential moderators are examined, including methodological considerations and domain of executive function. Moderators are only examined for unilateral anodal studies.

本元分析旨在探讨靶向背外侧前额叶皮层（dorsolateral prefrontal cortex, DLPFC）的经颅直流电刺激（transcranial direct current stimulation, tDCS）对执行功能的调控效果。本元分析分别对三类纳入研究进行考察：仅对单侧背外侧前额叶皮层施加阳极刺激、仅对单侧背外侧前额叶皮层施加阴极刺激，以及同时刺激双侧背外侧前额叶皮层的相关研究。本分析同时考察了多项潜在调节变量，涵盖实验方法论考量因素与执行功能的研究领域。仅针对单侧阳极刺激类研究开展调节变量分析。
