Postural Risks Associated with Tablet Use When Studying Among College of Rehabilitation Sciences Students: Dataset

This study aimed to assess and observe the postural risks stemming from tablet use for studying within the UST-CRS student population. The results revealed that the average RULA score of the 77 participants was 5, meaning that their posture needs further investigation and must be changed soon. In terms of variability, the Neck, Trunk, & Leg score showed the highest deviation. It was also evident that arm and wrist postures, as well as trunk positioning, were linked to higher ergonomic risk, potentially causing musculoskeletal pain.本研究旨在评估并观察UST-CRS学生群体中，使用平板电脑进行学习所引发的姿势相关风险。研究结果显示，77名受试者的快速上肢评估法（RULA）平均评分为5分，这表明其姿势需要进一步排查并尽快调整。就变异程度而言，颈部、躯干及腿部的分项得分呈现出最高的离散程度。此外，研究还证实，手臂与手腕的姿势以及躯干姿态与更高的工效学风险存在关联，可能会引发肌肉骨骼疼痛。
