SGA 1, SGA 5, and SGA 6: Modern LaTeX Working Editions, Source Workpasses, English/French/Spanish Translations, and Audit Materials

This is the reader-facing SGA working record for the Modern LaTeX Editions of Mathematics Manuscripts project. It contains modern LaTeX working editions, machine-assisted English and Spanish translations, French source-repair workpasses, and audit material for SGA 1, SGA 5, and SGA 6. Open first: SGA5_English_WorkingEdition_NotCritical_20260718.pdf, the current 309-page SGA 5 English working reader. Its exact curated scope is exposes I, III, III B, V, VI, VII, VIII, X, XII, and XV through printed p. 480 plus the index through printed p. 484. For SGA 6 English, open 02_SGA6_English_FullRange_Layered_WorkingReader_CORRECTED_20260718.pdf. The four-page SGA 1 English opening/section I.1 checkpoint is also directly available. SGA 5 replacement: the English reader is synchronized against the pinned current French source-control TeX. Printed p. 14 carries an explicit editorial note for a defective inherited chain, while the genuinely ambiguous p. 43 source glyph/subscript remains disclosed without a guessed emendation. The compact support ZIP contains one editable TeX, source/formula/structure and terminology ledgers, sanitized build evidence, six focused renders, sixteen whole-volume contact sheets covering all 309 pages, exact hashes, and independent package/privacy reviews. It excludes the Springer scan, scan-derived source pages, French source body, and inherited English witness body. Other retained readers: the SGA 1 checkpoint continues at French authority line 605 / section I.2. SGA 6 English remains full-range with non-uniform authority: its prefix is inherited and partially synchronized, its middle layer was checked against the available French workpass, and its later layer is scan-checked draft material pending further French reconciliation. The French SGA 6 workpass remains frozen at idx684, and a bounded Spanish Expose X checkpoint is retained. The privacy-defective historical SGA 6 support ZIP remains withdrawn while the corrected 381-page reader itself remains public. Classification: these are substantial machine-assisted, source-aware working editions and translations. They are not complete SGA volumes, independently human-certified critical editions, whole-volume source-faithfulness certifications, publication-grade proofread editions, rights determinations, or diagram-by-diagram certifications.
