Bacterial and Metabolic Features of Tissues and Feces Reveal Diagnostic Biomarkers for Patients with Colorectal Cancer

Colorectal cancer (CRC) remains a primary cause of cancer related mortality in the world today. A number of studies have investigated the changes and roles of bacteria and metabolomics in cancer, highlighting their impact on carcinogenesis. This study used 16S rRNA gene and LC-MS method to compare the features of bacteria and metabolomics from 10 tissues samples (TCRC) and 10 fecal samples (FCRC) with CRC and 10 healthy controls (THC and FHC).
