This article analyzes the linguopoetic and pragmatic features of metaphors in the poetry of Halima Khudoyberdiyeva. It scientifically substantiates the role of metaphor in the poet’s texts as a means of creating semantic depth, enhancing aesthetic impact, and establishing communicative interaction with the reader. In particular, the functional aspects of color metaphors, nature-related metaphors, and metaphorical units expressing emotional and psychological states are examined.
