Chemical, physical, phytoplankton weight, and other data were collected from the G.W. PIERCE from June 19, 1971 to September 14, 1980. Data were collected using meteorological sensors, plankton net, secchi disk, and bottle casts from the South Atlantic Ocean. Data were submitted by Skidaway Institute of Oceanography (SKIO) as part of the California Cooperative Fisheries Investigation (CALCOFI) project.
